Disabled Single Mother Needs Help

I am an Army Vet and on Social Security Disability waiting for my VA benefits to start. I filled a claim in April but I am still waiting for the results. My husband was wrongfully convicted of a felony in 2010 and is in prison for the next 9 years. Because of my husband's conviction both of our families no longer speak to us or will help me. The prison my husband was at that was near our home in Sonora, California moved him to a different prison in Ione, California. We are all we have for each other now and our weekend visits keep us going threw all this so I had to move from Sonora, California to Jackson, California by myself so we can still see each other. Since I had no one to help me I gave away a lot of my furniture and am in need of some to replace it. We are trying to appeal his conviction as well as we are working on a writ of habeas corpus right now on our own because we can not afford a good attorney and those that have been appointed to us threw...

Hello. I'm a member of the LOZ and Holy Family as I have been told. I'm in need of prayers and/or assistance from people with connections/influence. Due to "reorganization" at several Baton Rouge General Health System clinics, I was finally let go June 17th. I was working at a clinic in Prairieville, LA for $14/hr covering for a nurse (medical asst.) on maternity leave and others that took vacation. I am a medical asst. II with 22 years of varied experience. I'm trying to keep my pay at $14 or even better if possible due to my own needs, bills to pay and helping my disabled mother and brother here in Louisiana. I am open to more interesting and creative careers and even working from home. I also have been in the restaurant business off and on for the past 22 years as well. Im in need of help with a few things.
1. If anyone has any baby gear or anything for baby im in need of it! I have a 3 month old and not too much stuff. I dont care on colors or designs anything helps. Obviously functional and safe. Anything youre not using anymore or just dont need...please help.
2. Kids beds! I cant afford to buy them. One has broke so we had to toss. The other we lost in storage while moving. Again any color or design just needs to be in decent condition and safe for kids. Toddler or twin. I only have a car so may need help getting.
3. Any dressers or something similar for clothes. We dont have any and clothes are everywherez

My name is Rachel and I live in Westminster, MD.

I have run into some trouble and I'm out of ideas. I am married and we have a 15 month old daughter. My husband lost his job for about two months and during that time I ran up a lot of credit card debt so that I could have the cash to pay the mortgage and such while he was out with no pay.

And even now that he has a new job, he had to take a major pay cut and I'm still charging on my credit cards about $100.00 a month.

We used to use Angel Food, which helped, but all the host sites around us closed and so now the closest one is about 40 minutes away--one way. It's no longer saving us money because of the price of gas.

I'm very frugal, I don't spend money on myself, but I also work an hour away. I spend around $80 a week in gas and trying to get diapers and food is just not working. I don't want to run up all my credit cards (I have about $700 left that I'm trying to leave open in case of an...

Me and my disabled child had to move back home after my ex fiance decided while we were away on vacation in california to split up with me. So I moved permenentaly back to california. Both me and my child our disabled on a fixed income. I did find us a place to live, but wiith the changing of states and banks I only got one income this month and now I have a 3day notice that I received almost a week ago. So I am in need of a little help with rent, house items and clothing.

I never thought at my age (50) that I would be facing homelessness for the first time in my life & honestly Im scared to death. I lost my job as an Office Manager Oct 2008 & my car got repo'd 7 months after that. I moved out of my nice 3 bedroom home into a 1 room apt which saved me $400 a month. I have managed making due on my unemployment but now I have exhausted all my claim. My electric & phone will be shut off at the end of the week & Im facing eviction a few weeks after that. I dont have any family or children & I just dont know where to turn to. The only thing I can think about is if I had a car I could at least sleep in that at night. I have called the Salvation Army & didnt get anywhere there. What in the world does one do in this situation?

I have been trying to help my son Matthew find a place to live until May. Thats when he graduates from college. We have posted on craigslist looking for a place to rent but have come up empty handed. hi, live in Milton Florida,I live with 2 of my children and my husband who hasnt worked a full time job since 2002. we get s.s.d but that just barely takes care of the utilities. But with Gods grace we seem to always have just what we need from month to month!
The only thing im looking for at the present is ,my 17 yr old daugbhter needs clothes! she wears a size 12 in pants and a large in blouses and tee shirts. she doesnt ask for very much and she hasnt really said much but she really needs some clothes , and with Christmas comming up it would be so nice to surprise her....... any help would be appreciated!thanks and God bless

I am a local owner of a costume shop in Chico Ca. I have a two fold problem I am looking for help with. My financial backer and I had a plan to first open the shop, then expand inventory for Halloween. After opening I came to him to start expanding and he let me know he had spent the money he had planned to help the shop with on his niece instead. Now, I need a short term solution to stay open, but also a long term investment to make the store what it needs to be.
